Sequin and Three Strap Heels

DSCN2504Good Morning!! It’s me again lol. I briefly just wanted to share with you all what I wore to the Flat Out Of Heels event this past Monday night at Room Service Restaurant Lounge. Within just 5 minutes of arriving, I met a few ladies who are apart of the South Florida Girlfriends Club meet up group and extended an invitation for us to sit with them at a table that they reserved.

Since I knew I would be attending a dinner party I chose a sequin skirt which has been collecting dust in my closet. I have had it for years but I’ve only worn it once prior to Monday. I just recently purchased this red blazer from my FAVORITE store KOHLS and I already know that it will get used quite often especially during this holiday season.

Enhance your day and night time look with 1-800-Contacts

1800 ContactsGood Morning lovelies!! I hope all is well. I was approached recently to share with you all about the wonderful Acuvue 2 Coloured Contact lenses that 1-800-Contacts offers. I thought it would be a great idea to show how wearing colored contacts can enhance an outfit opposed to wearing glasses. Below are the Acuvue 2 Coloured contacts. Not only can you order contacts online but the amount that you save is a real joy! Let’s check out the different Colours that Acuvue provides. acuvue-2-colors-opaque_2Below are the four different looks that I feel are perfect to wear with coloured contacts!!

Fall Brunch outfitFall Brunch Outfit

I recommend wearing the Hazel Green and Warm Honey contacts. They are soft and quite natural. Perfect for a brunch date with friends or a significant other.

Casual day outfitCasual Day Outfit

For this particular outfit, which is on the free spirited side, I would suggest wearing the Pearl Grey or Sapphire Blue to bring out the color in that snazzy hat shown above.

Casual & Date Night outfitCasual/Outdoor Concert Outfit

I’m all about wearing sweaters and boots during the Fall and Winter seasons and instead of wearing glasses while you are out and about I thought the Chesnut Brown and Deep Blue would be fitting for this outfit.

Ladies Night Out OutfitDate Night

My final look can be worn during the day and night. Jade Green brings out the color in this look!

If you are looking to save money on contacts I would highly recommend heading over to 1-800-Contacts to browse more of what this company offers. Glasses are a must have necessity but they don’t have to be worn at all times. 1-800-Contacts provides their customers with free shipping on web orders over $50. So let’s get shopping readers!!

Thank you all for stopping by and for the support that you show ASW.

Kohls Cares: Lauren Conrad Collection

Good Morning ASW Readers!! I hope everyone is having a great week thus far. Today I would like to share with you all some items that the kind folks at Kohls sent me a few weeks ago to review. Since my younger sister was home for the Thanksgiving holiday I decided to style her and have her wear two of the three items that I received.

This Kohl’s Cares LC Lauren Conrad Sequin Bow Beret is perfect for the fall and winter seasons. Not only will this beret keep your head warm but it is quite stylish. I love the sequin studs and the vanilla color of the beret. It can be cleaned by hand wash and is one size fit all. This item is priced at just $5.00!

Next up are some of the cutest gloves that I have ever seen! As you can see, the LC Lauren Conrad Sequin Bow Gloves match perfectly with the beret shown above. The gloves are flexible enough to fit almost anyone’s hands. Hand washing is recommended for cleaning the gloves as well. These are also priced at $5.00!

The pink ballet slippers are comfortable and cozy for those extra cold nights. They are priced at $5.00 as well!!

Click HERE to view more items from the Lauren Conrad Collection. All items are under $10 with a 100 of the net profit donated to fight against breast cancer. The collection is available from October 29 through February 3 at Kohls 40 Wisconsin stores and online!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

The Bloggers Review at Dress To Kill Boutique {Recap + What I wore}

Good Morning loves!! We have had such a long weekend and now we head back to work! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! This past Friday I attended The Bloggers Review event at the Dress To Kill Boutique. This event was designed to bring bloggers together and view different brands that the store features. Antonia D.L., the owner of DTK was so generous to offer her guests an additional 25% off the majority of the items within the boutique. She also provided fabulous goodie bags filled with items from Cult Nails, Nuvo Condoms, Infinite Jewelry, and Nail Veils. DJ Kaisa was on the one’s and two’s and raffle giveaways were given by Staci Sherri. I had such a great time below are pictures from the event ↓.

Many of you may remember the Fall Wish List that I created and shared a few weeks ago {click here}. Well I found two of the items on my wish list and I wore them to the blogger event. I didn’t plan on going for the whole gray and black mix but I liked the results. I’m hoping that I will get the opportunity to wear more of my fall/winter clothing since its been cold almost everyday. It would be great if it stayed like this all the way up to Christmas.

Sissy sipping and shopping!

BookTalk with ASW: 10 Things Every Woman Should Keep in Her Purse by Shani Curry-St.Vil

Good Morning loves!! I hope you all are doing well. Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? I wish you all safe travels during this holiday season as well as piece and happiness with your loved ones. Today I would like to share a book that I have been reading called 10 Things Every Woman Should Keep in Her Purse by Shani Curry – St. Vil. Shani heads the company by the name of Purse Empowerment which lends financial advice to women by helping them create a budget and stick to it, manage debt, tackle credit card issues, invest in real property, and save for future goals. All the issues that I just mentioned are discussed in her book.

One of the best things that I enjoyed most about the book was that she provided her readers with instances from her life whether they were good or bad. It shows women everywhere that even though you may have made that mistake (s) there is room for improvement but it will involve sacrifices. On the contrary, there may be women who are checking off the list in each chapter because they have accomplished the majority of tips that Shani stated in the book. Either way there is always room for growth. I would highly recommend this book to ALL ladies, married or single.

{Key points}

{1} Try your best to only use your credit card on Purse Pitfalls (i.e. car fixing, house repairs, in between jobs, left without health insurance, etc.) – Not on materialistic items. That is how you accumulate unnecessary debt.

{2} Always pay your bills on time. Point blank!

{3} Create a budget for each month. If you fail to plan, plan to fail. We all have needs and wants but we all have to ask ourselves do we need this item (s) right now? Saving a couple of hundred dollars extra month instead of purchasing that bag or tech device is more important! I, ASW create “want” lists all the time and when the time is right I head in the store or order my purchase online. There is a time and place to splurge!

{4} Buy U.S. Saving bonds. They can earn interest for 30 years, after which you are able to cash them out.

{5} Invest in the stock market. Determine goals before buying into the particular company.

{6} Keep ALL insurance cards in your wallet!

{7} Keep extra cash with you. You may never know when there comes a time when debit cards are not accepted.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and thank you so much for all of the support that you show ASW!

Chambray and Leopard

Happy Monday!! Are you all just as excited as I am about this week? It’s Thanksgiving! Time for fellowship, laughter, and of course partake in the delicious home cooked dishes. Thanksgiving starts the season of holidays and the countdown til’ the end of the year. I hope you all enjoy your holiday season!

So this past Saturday I volunteered at the AlwayzLadyLike Mommy and Daughter day event in Miami. The event had a great turnout and the guests had a great time. Since I knew that I was attending a casual event I opted for my dark yellow denim jeans that were tucked away in my closet waiting to be worn. I was very excited about wearing them because I love the color and fit.

Jeans & Shoes:Forever 21//Chambray shirt:Charlotte Russe (Similar)//Necklace & Earrings:Vendor at Shecky’s//Sunnies:Nine West

Last weekend while my sister was in town we went shopping and I picked up these platform leopard block heels from Forever 21. I love leopard and despite the height of the heel I knew that these had the potential of being comfortable to walk for a long period of time. Then I used my chambray shirt as a jacket and placed an old white tank top underneath it. It gave me options to do away with the jacket if I got hot.

I absolutely love this necklace! I purchased this necklace and matching earrings this past week at Sheckys. This will definitely be my go to piece when I wear solid colors or earth tones. As you can see, I am very happy with my purchase!

Tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway so if you haven’t already done so click HERE to enter!

I hope you all have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by ✌.

Hey Girlfriend at Shecky’s Girl’s Night Out – Miami 2012

Good Morning Lovelies!! We made it to another Friday ::Cheers:: I’m so looking forward to the weekend!! This past Wednesday, I attended the 11th annual Shecky’s Girl’s Night Out Miami Edition at the Moore Building in the Design District of Miami. Many of your may recall me attending last year’s event so this year when I found out that my good good friend Shilesa of Hey Girlfriend Online, signed up to be vendor for Shecky’s, I knew that I would like to help out in any way that I could. Hey Girlfriend is a lifestyle brand which brings together ladies from all over to build new friendships, socialize and just simply have girl time! Wednesday night was the first night that she launched the actual products of her line at an event and she received great responses from shoppers. The products that she sells are shot glasses, compact mirrors, t-shirts with her brand’s logo on the front, travel/make-up cases, purse holders and party kits.

Hey Girlfriend Clique!

I purchased the Hey Girlfriend travel/make-up case! I needed a new case for when I travel and I can’t wait to use it. It has plenty of compartments to store all of your desired necessities and it can fit into your suitcase or purse very easily.

I hope you all have a great day and thanks for reading!

ASW Reviews: Rush Hair Salon

Good Evening Lovely readers!! It’s ASW again. I would like to share with you all a neat salon that is based in the UK. Rush Hair was founded in 1994 by two men named Andy and Stell. Since then they have expanded from just having one salon to sixty salons. Isn’t that amazing? Rush Hair Salon gives their clients the option to book their appointments online for whichever service that they would like. A few may want to relax in the low-lit spa on the first floor of the salon. On the other hand, some may like to indulge in a nice head massage while their hairdresser crafts a style that will best suit the client.

As you can see, this salon is modern and the two owners are always looking for innovative ways to spruce up their salons. Technology nonetheless plays a major role in the expansion of the sixty salons. Click here to find out more about Rush Reading! Customer service is extremely important when it comes to maintaing a successful business because the owner (s) always want their cliental to leave satisfied. The salon offers a full staff that are always ready and willing to assist whomever walks through the door.

One of the features that I love about Rush is that not only do they have a website but they also have a blog as well. As a blogger I know how important it is to keep up with my blog and Rush Salon does the same. Within their blog they discuss celebrities and their hair styles and it gives their customers ideas on what they may try differently to their hair.

If you live in London then I highly suggest that you pay a visit to Rush Hair Salon.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you have a wonderful night!

With Love,

Ashley
