Sequin and Three Strap Heels

DSCN2504Good Morning!! It’s me again lol. I briefly just wanted to share with you all what I wore to the Flat Out Of Heels event this past Monday night at Room Service Restaurant Lounge. Within just 5 minutes of arriving, I met a few ladies who are apart of the South Florida Girlfriends Club meet up group and extended an invitation for us to sit with them at a table that they reserved.

Since I knew I would be attending a dinner party I chose a sequin skirt which has been collecting dust in my closet. I have had it for years but I’ve only worn it once prior to Monday. I just recently purchased this red blazer from my FAVORITE store KOHLS and I already know that it will get used quite often especially during this holiday season.

The Bloggers Review at Dress To Kill Boutique {Recap + What I wore}

Good Morning loves!! We have had such a long weekend and now we head back to work! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! This past Friday I attended The Bloggers Review event at the Dress To Kill Boutique. This event was designed to bring bloggers together and view different brands that the store features. Antonia D.L., the owner of DTK was so generous to offer her guests an additional 25% off the majority of the items within the boutique. She also provided fabulous goodie bags filled with items from Cult Nails, Nuvo Condoms, Infinite Jewelry, and Nail Veils. DJ Kaisa was on the one’s and two’s and raffle giveaways were given by Staci Sherri. I had such a great time below are pictures from the event ↓.

Many of you may remember the Fall Wish List that I created and shared a few weeks ago {click here}. Well I found two of the items on my wish list and I wore them to the blogger event. I didn’t plan on going for the whole gray and black mix but I liked the results. I’m hoping that I will get the opportunity to wear more of my fall/winter clothing since its been cold almost everyday. It would be great if it stayed like this all the way up to Christmas.

Sissy sipping and shopping!

Chambray and Leopard

Happy Monday!! Are you all just as excited as I am about this week? It’s Thanksgiving! Time for fellowship, laughter, and of course partake in the delicious home cooked dishes. Thanksgiving starts the season of holidays and the countdown til’ the end of the year. I hope you all enjoy your holiday season!

So this past Saturday I volunteered at the AlwayzLadyLike Mommy and Daughter day event in Miami. The event had a great turnout and the guests had a great time. Since I knew that I was attending a casual event I opted for my dark yellow denim jeans that were tucked away in my closet waiting to be worn. I was very excited about wearing them because I love the color and fit.

Jeans & Shoes:Forever 21//Chambray shirt:Charlotte Russe (Similar)//Necklace & Earrings:Vendor at Shecky’s//Sunnies:Nine West

Last weekend while my sister was in town we went shopping and I picked up these platform leopard block heels from Forever 21. I love leopard and despite the height of the heel I knew that these had the potential of being comfortable to walk for a long period of time. Then I used my chambray shirt as a jacket and placed an old white tank top underneath it. It gave me options to do away with the jacket if I got hot.

I absolutely love this necklace! I purchased this necklace and matching earrings this past week at Sheckys. This will definitely be my go to piece when I wear solid colors or earth tones. As you can see, I am very happy with my purchase!

Tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway so if you haven’t already done so click HERE to enter!

I hope you all have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by ✌.

Fashionista’s Flea at Touch Boutique {Recap}

Good Morning Loves!! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! This past Saturday on my way to volunteer at a casting call for a fashion show that will take place next month, I stopped by the Fashionista’s Flea at Touch Boutique in Miami, FL. There were about six or seven tables set up with cute items that fashionistas and bloggers hoped to get rid of. I enjoyed perusing through shoes, accessories, never worn make-up, scarves, the list goes on. Let’s take a look at the pictures below!

Fashion Designers Expo’s 2012 Fall Runway Shows + What I Wore

Happy Monday!! It’s a new day and the start of a new work week! How was everyone’s weekend? I had a jam packed weekend of fashion and fun! As you know I attended the Fashion Designer’s Expo this weekend. It started on Thursday and ended on Saturday.

So yesterday I headed to the mall in search of a cute dress to wear to the fashion show. Instead of finding a dress I fell in love with this high slit maxi skirt. The one thing that I absolutely loved about this skirt is that it came with shorts underneath opposed to having a mini skirt underneath that has the tendency to ride up. Ladies who wear the high and low skirts know exactly what I mean. The skirt was a little loose around the waist area so I added a belt to the look. I won this belt last December in a giveaway on Christina of Love Brown Sugar’s blog and I’ve worn it a couple of times. It definitely came in handy!

I threw on my favorite wrap around purse to add color to my look. This purse goes with so many items of mine and I love it!

Forever 21 top (OLD)//A’Gaci animal print high slit skirt (Similar,Similar)//Kelsi Dagger heels//Modalistas belt (Gifted)//Rampage wrap purse//Thierry-Accessories earrings

Posing with the lovely Natalie, LaShannon-Founder of Styling Purpose, and Moi!

I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner of the DVN shop, Debby Nilsson about accessories, blogging, and Google Analytics. She has the cutest accessories so make sure to visit her online shop!

This woman is a three year Breast Cancer survivor!! She looked stunning! There were so many different clothing lines in one fashion show. A few of my favorite’s included: Jama Clothing, PINK Hits the Runway, Christian Segui, and the Student Designers Group! Overall it was a great experience. I loved the way the runway was set up as well as the venue. I will definitely attend next year’s Fashion Designer’s Expo!

Well folks, I hope you enjoyed my recap and thank you so much for stopping by. Have a magnificent Monday!

What I Wore: Makers Shoes Event

Good Morning lovelies!! I hope you all are having a wonderful morning so far. It’s Friday and I am looking forward to the weekend. So last night I attended Day 1 of the Fashion Designer’s Expo in Midtown Miami with my fashionable blogger friends. Opening night consisted of the launch party of the company Makers Shoes. All of the bloggers were able to depart with a free pair of shoes! How cool is that! I will share more about the launch party in a later post. Let’s check out what I wore to the event. Blazer, Belt, & Pants: Forever 21//Top:OLD//Heels: Zara Patent Court Shoe //Bracelet: Arts and Crafts Festival//Necklace: Chico’s//Earrings: IN Pink Earrings (Similar)//Ring: Miami Accessory store//Watch:Marc by Marc Jacobs

There is nothing like having a classic black pump! It goes with all sorts of items. I paired them with my forever 21 cropped trousers and an old screen tee which I still love. To complete my look I threw on my fuchsia blazer to add some color to my outfit. I won a $15 gift certificate over at IN PINK a few weeks back so I picked out a pair of blue and rust gold color dangle earrings which I wear at least twice a week. If you haven’t shopped IN PINK head over now for great accessory finds.

Miami Bloggers! (L to R) Natalie, Ju’lia, Dionne, Deidre, Shea and yours truly!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

InstaSassy

Good Morning Loves!! Many of you may follow me on Instagram {SassyWoman25} and know that I usually post pictures of me at different local events, new items that I have purchased, and my favorite celebrities looking fabulous! So I decided to share my favorite Instagram photos that you may not have seen on ASW.This past weekend BET taped the 2012 Black Girl’s Rock awards in New York City! The beautiful Taraji P. Henson and Tracee Ellis Ross looked stunning on the red carpet. Taraji is rocking a new hair do and I’m loving it. Tracee wore a fitted black gown and added a raspberry shade of lipstick to complete her look. I am looking forward to viewing the awards when it airs Sunday, November 4 at 8pm on BET!

Since I knew that the Isabel Marant sneakers weren’t in my budget my alternative were these babies from Bakers! They are comfortable, stylish, and can pretty much go with a number of items I have in my closet ::SCORE::

Last week my blogger buddy, Deidre of Frugal Flirty and Fab and I attended the Nicole Miller Show in Miami.

I wore a peplum leather skirt from Forever 21, white tee from Cotton On, Zara Heels!

Dionne of Prissy Shopper and I attended a Blogalicious Meet up a few weeks ago and our picture was uploaded onto The Miami Times Facebook page. Fun night with great friends!

At the end of August Shea of Curves and Confidence, her friend and I attended the Phatachee Fashion Show at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami.

This past Saturday I volunteered at the Breast Cancer Walk in Ft.Lauderdale. It was an amazing experience and I met some phenomenal women who are survivors of Breast Cancer. Make sure that you check your breasts because it is nothing like knowing your status!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a terrific Thursday!

AlwayzLadyLike Glam Party with Keyshia Ka’oir {Recap}

Happy Wednesday Loves!! I hope everyone is in high spirits this morning. We are half way through the week and we are blessed to see another wonderful day! This past Sunday I attend the AlwayzLadyLike Glam Party which was hosted by the founder of the mentoring program, Eboney Johnson! Many of you may recognize her from the feature that I did on her a few months ago. Check out the post HERE. The event was such a success and she did a fabulous job. She adores the young ladies that she works with in her program so she decided to surprise them. They were able to get their nails, hair, and make up done and they were each given goodie bags which were filled with feminine and hair care products, make up, and much more! Check out the pictures below.

The owner of Hot Looks Makeup Lounge did a great job with the make up for the young ladies!

CEO, Model, and Cosmetics Mogul, Keyshia Ka’oir stopped by to speak to the young ladies about staying focused in school, set goals for themselves, and give them more of an insight of how she got started with her make up line!

I had wonderful time chatting with some of the ladies in the program and I plan to get more involved with AlwayzLadyLike. It is great to spend time with young ladies who are in need of attention and who are looking for role models because that may not be present within their homes.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Sassy City Chicks {Recap}

Good Morning lovely people!! We made it to another Friday ::Cheers:: This week went by so fast and I’m glad. Last night I attended a mixer called Sassy City Chicks. There were a numerous amount of vendors which sold clothing, jewelry, and art. The venue was quite spacious and I could tell that everyone was enjoying themselves. Not to mention Sassy Chicks gifted their guests with an awesome swag bag…for FREE!! (by using a code that was provided). I had a great time hanging out with my friends and I will definitely attend the next Sassy City Chicks event.

What I wore—>Dress: LAUNDRY (My mother’s dress from the 80’/90′) //Blazer: XXI//Heels:Kelsi Dagger//Purse: c/o Forest and Culver//Necklace:Thierry-Accessories//Earrings:Miami accessory shop//Bracelets:Assortment

My mother gave me this dress about two years ago and last night I finally got a chance to wear it! I love the material and quality of the dress. I can definitely see myself wearing this several times since it can be dressed up or down. I then paired my Kelsi Dagger peep toe platform heels and my fairly new blazer from Forever 21 to complete my look!
